ABOUT US
In 2013, British founders Mildred Parker and Mark Charlton came up with the idea to set up a luxury ethical fashion brand. They recognised that creating a sustainable luxury product presented a number of challenges. This started with getting the right resources and contacts, however the greatest challenge was ensuring consistently high quality for their luxury products whilst maintaining ethical sourcing of raw material.
As designers, they knew that the key to guaranteeing quality was to have access to top quality crocodile skins, which was impossible to achieve when sourcing from third parties. The duo finally decided that the only way to control the sourcing of their main raw material, crocodile skins, would be to set up their own Nile crocodile farm, their very own renewable source. It took three years to be fully set up and another 2 years to begin harvesting highest quality crocodile skins from the farm. The designers are confident they offer exceptional quality, as the farm also supplies top tanneries serving the luxury fashion brands.
In 2015 they began to work on their new luxury brand, KAZVRI LONDON. Mildred and Mark were careful not to rush the design and production of their first collection. As designers they wanted to introduce a luxury handbag like no other. Their KAZVRI Super handbags, from TOSCANA collection is inspired by their love for timeless, iconic elegance and their passion to combine luxury with philanthropy, so their customers feel good about every purchase.
KAZVRI LONDON runs various charitable projects in Kenya. Some projects are run independently and others with support from KAZVRI LONDON partners.
